I watched this film for my Fiction Film Theory class. "At Land" (1944). It was a silent film, but while watching it, I knew it needed accompaniment. I decided to listen to Cocteau Twins. I believe Sea, Swallow Me was the right choice for this particular scene. I did not edit all of it, just little bits.

Mary, a 20-year-old girl, works at a flower shop downtown. She sees the same girl pass by the window as she works through her shifts daily. She isn’t sure what she wants out of life. Mary has to plan how to find a way to spend more time with this girl. Is it love Mary dreams of? Would she be okay on her own?
